Here are some photos

Here are Peyton and Gracie on the plane. Oops, I got Peyton on sideways and can't figure out how to fix him now : )
I thought that I would post a few photos. I haven't taken many, but there are a few interesting ones. : )
Here I am on my first subway ride. Shane and the kids were tired that evening, so I went with a small group and we checked out the street market.
Here are a few of us. There are streets lined with booths behind us and in front of us, and there is even a whole shopping area under the ground that seems to go forever!
This is one of the 'snacks' that we saw being served on the street. I think they were were some kind of worm. They were steamed and served in an ice cream cone. Yummy!

I went out for a walk in our area. This is one of the intersections near where we are staying.

A group of us waiting for the subway to take us to the street market.

This is the room where we are staying. It's actually pretty nice considering we have our own bathroom in our room and we don't have to share with anyone.

We are still learning lots about our teaching responsibilities. I am really glad that I am already a teacher. If I was coming into this with no training and no previous experience, this would be a bit overwhelming. But once everyone gets into the classroom, it will all work itself out. It's a pretty cut and dried teaching method, but all the little details make it seem harder than it is.
Shane has been asked to preach a sermon this Sabbath. He is having a tough time finding enough time to get it done. He has to do a powerpoint presentation with it because that is what the people are used to, and it helps to have it for people who are not fluent in English. So I will be helping him get the Powerpoint prepared. We will get practice in teamwork. : ) Keepus both in your prayers as we work on this together and as Shane preaches this Sabbath.

Your parents shared part of your email to them at prayer meeting last night! We all cringed when you described the physical, especially the dental part!!! Yikes. Good to see the pics that go with the story :-)
